Baby’s Blessing Ritual

• Introduction of the newborn to the sauna spirit that is a sacred Latvian tradition

• Gentle use of soft, tiny sauna whisks to acquaint the baby with warmth and the power place

• A calm, candlelit environment designed for safety, softness, and presence

• The process unfolds intuitively, guided by the child’s state and comfort

• Space for parents to bless their child with the prepared water, love, and ancestral support

This is a deeply intuitive moment led by the baby’s rhythm, emotional state, and natural ease.

Parents’ Mini Rituals

• Each parent receives their own small individual sauna ritual

• A protected moment to express intentions, release tension, and reconnect with inner strength

• Water available for refreshment, grounding, or symbolic restart

• Guidance offered where needed:

  • grounding through breath

  • somatic presence and emotional release

  • prayers, words, or rituals for clarity and reconnection

Your family is held as one unit, while honoring each person’s individual role within it.

Integration & Closing

• Gentle grounding and return to the body

• Herbal tea and simple grounding foods

• Optional space to share insights or feelings (silence is equally honored)

• Closing blessing for the family and newborn

• Suggestions for gentle post-ritual integration
